Written in rhyme, this story takes us through the life and path of Sonia Kovalevsky, the first woman to receive a PhD in modern Europe. Despite the many disadvantages and difficult environment, Kovalevsky manages to overcome those difficulties and follow her dream, receiving some of the highest prizes in mathematics to that point.

This book is meant to be a soft introduction to Kovalevsky's work, and to inspire young readers to follow STEM careers. In particular, it was develop as material for the Sonia Kovalevsky days run at the University of Illinois at Chicago, following the program of the Association of Women in Mathematics.
